The terms that apply when you use PewRota: a rota builder for parish ministry schedulers that keeps every name and rota in your own browser.

What this is
PewRota builds a ministry rota from the services, ministries, people and rules you enter. PewRota applies the rules you set for your own parish; it ships no liturgical rules of its own. It is a tool for the scheduler; the rota it makes is yours to check, change and publish as your parish sees fit.
Your data
Everything you enter stays in your browser on your computer. You are responsible for having the parish's permission to hold the names you enter, and for keeping a backup file if you need one. We cannot recover anything that is cleared from a browser.
Cost
Every feature is free to use, with no account. No paid plan is offered at present; if one is added, this page will describe it.
Names and trademarks
Ministry names such as lector or sidesperson are ordinary words. Other products are named only in the comparison guide, as their own pages describe them. PewRota is not affiliated with or endorsed by any church, denomination, diocese or scheduling software company.
Acceptable use
Use the site to schedule volunteers. Do not scrape it at a rate that degrades it for other people, and do not enter anyone's details you have no right to hold.
Warranty and liability
The site is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, PewRota is not liable for any loss arising from the use of the site or from reliance on anything on it. Check the rota before you publish it; a rota is a plan made by volunteers, not a promise.
Contact
Questions, or a report that the builder broke a rule it says it keeps, go to the support address in the footer. A rule broken without a flag is a defect and gets fixed.
